so, a few weeks ago, I asked you lovely people what you'd like to see more of, and vlogs were in a flippin ninety-nine percent of the comments! I didn't realise you guys enjoyed them that much, but I'm so glad you do, coz I kinda love making them! so, last sunday I vlogged parts of my day, but you'll have to bear with me as I try get better with vlogging (it's actually kinda hard to remember to pick up the camera and film whats going on...people be like whaat?) and the like. anyway, if you guys like these kind of videos, then let me know in the comments whether you want to see more! or if there's something in particular you want to see in the videos (like, more of adelaide. I think she should just have her own youtube channel or something gosh the cuteness), then let me know coz I really appreciate your input (I love love love you guys).

so. petie left me this morning to go back to her oklahoma people and I'm terribly sad and sad and sad, so to cheer myself (and all of you because you're sad with me, I know) up, I thought I'd post this video, because it makes me laugh so much. we did a 'how well do we know each other' tag and uhhhh...we failed. miserably. apparently we know nothing about each other. I have another post coming up about petie + our time together these past few months, but for now, enjoy this video and also send me coffee + candy + warm hugs coz I need them. also, I feel like america is a good place to go to...like, soon.

THE LONG AWAITED Q&A VLOG. YES. I KNOW.

so. here it is. the long awaited q&a vlog (crowds cheer! masses clap! dogs hide in their kennels! children cry! wait...what). we decided, rather than doing a boring, long-winded question and answer video, we would do a speed q&a! which kinda turned out to be five minutes long (basically we both talk too much heh). coz there were a lot of questions. and apparently we don't know the meaning of speed. so! enjoy the video and also the bloopers at the end (coz it ain't a petieandjess video without bloopers). also. allow me to forewarn you that I might creep you out with my creepy smiles while I creepily tilt my head and stare creepily at the camera. you have been warned. now! this heartless old baggage (that'd be me) is gonna go and get some coffee, with the creepy old man (that'd be payton).

it's twenty fourteen tomorrow and I can't believe it and I'm excited and thrilled for what the year will bring and sad that twenty thirteen is over and also coffee. I have so much to be thankful for and so much I want to do and so much in my life and so many great friends and so many things I want to grow in. so, here's a lil new years video, to bring in this new year and to also just talk a load of rubbish, because, hey, what's a video without a bit of nonsense? nothing, I tell you, nothing. also includes nearly two minutes of bloopers coz apparently I'm a walking (sitting?) blooper. HEEEEY WATCH IT IN HD AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR.

heyheyhey kiddos! a little late, a little sorry and a little crazy. this video honestly doesn't make much sense, but hey, it's a video, right? so, this is just a bit of my life. I live in a house that being hugely renovated, so it's very much a building site right now, for those of you who didn't know. and the random guys who appear on this video are my brother, our joiner and our labourer, so, show them some love coz they do a lot of work. I hope you enjoy this psychedelic video and I definitely didn't have enough coffee in me and ooh look bloopers. also, try not to be jealous at my rather delish vlogging skills. I know, I know...professionalism abounds! does anyone want to go out for coffee and watch the world go by and talk of profound, sweet nothings? I thought so. anywho, I might not be able to do a video next week, depending on what day my lil niece decides she wants to arrive on, because babies are ridiculous like that and they just come when they come. psssh. typical.

and so, after a wee break as I moved out of my bedroom and had walls removed and crazay stuff like that, I'm back! so, um, I guess I sang a song? I cannot actually tell you how dissatisfied I am with my singing in this video, but let me tell you, it's not mah best. so yeah. ignore the cut in the middle of the song and try to ignore damien's (ahem thanks a lot brother) foot tapping. so, basically, this video is pretty terrible. but hey, there's bloopers! that's gotta count for something, right? er, yeah, just cover your ears for the first five minutes and then enjoy the bloopers!

anyway. this song is dedicated to petie coz we made a deal, and ya know, she kind of threatened to send in an assassin to kill my coffee machine, so of course, I went with it. ha. the deal was: she sing le song on a video and I sing le song on a video. if I were you, I'd go watch hers. it is fantastic-in-the-most-brilliant-go-away-you're-so-good-kinda-way-ever.

aha! caught you out, didn't I? coz it's thursday. not friday. thursday being the new video day. coz I like to keep you all on your toes. this, my little cherry pies, is video number six. would you believe it? it's crazy. six flippin videos. six weeks. wow. here's a lil building site tour (some peeps requested it!), vlog-style and also, rather shaky. ooops. includes john our irish carpenter, damien the brother and a lot of...well, strange things. enjoy!
also, I might have to take a short break from these videos soon. I'll do next week's one (what-oh, it'll be me and the brother answering questions!), but after that it'll have to be a three week break, I think. we're moving out of our house while it's being smashed/bished/boshed/helped/rebuilt for a couple of weeks, and I'm not sure how much time I'll have to do any videos at all!
but tell me, while we're on the subject, have you been enjoying the videos? yay? nay? should I just go boil my head? any of those answers are understandable. or perhaps a more creative one...I should go live the rest of my life as a hermit. fifty flippin facts about me. coz who doesn't want to know fifty facts about me? I mean, c'mon, seriously. ahem, anyway. someone suggested that I do a video with some facts about myself, and I know that a lot of youtubers have done this 'fifty facts about me' video, so I gone done did it. you guys should do one too, k? whether it's a blog post or a video...make sure you give me the link, so I can read/watch it! also, I'm fully aware that this video is seven minutes and thirty seconds. the q & a vlog

yes. it has finally arrived. the long awaited q&a vlog. so very deeply ashamed. so terribly mortified. but only for 1.2 minutes. ok, so, here's the low down:

1) I'm sorry it's 17 minutes long. ouch.
2) singing like a parrot is included.
3) 2nd video is bloopers (weird word.).
4) bear with the going-out-of-focus thing.
5) lil jess forgot to change the aperture.
6) lil jess is good like that.
7) why? just why.
8) I'm not really that pale.
9) yeah, sorry for the washed-out-ness. blame it on jeeves.
10) is it just me or are they both quiet? turn it up kids, turn it up.

in other words, home sweet home. though it's more like home sweet building site, really. did you enjoy all the lovely guest posters? weren't they darling? I was reading them while I was on holiday and I was like, "hey! why do I even blog? these sweet ladies could just take over my blog and you guys could actually get inspired by the posts on here!".

yup. but then I gave up the thought, coz I would miss you all way too much and you would have  no one to laugh at and say, "poor dear, she needs help."

so. um, I have a confession to make. you know how I did a vlog? yeah. and I only posted part one and said I would post part two later? well. after I posted part one, I deleted the video, coz it was taking up too much room on my computer. ha. no, I actually deleted part one and part two. coz I'm just that clever. then I was searching for it, and slowly but surely came to the conclusion that this girl had deleted the dang video. good one jess. so, to make up for it, I thought I'd do a q & a video! talk about originality.

ask me questions and I'll answer them. face to face. well, face to camera, anyway. they can be embarrassing, they can be nosey, they can be boring (no, not really, they can't be boring. noooot allowed.), they can be ridiculous and they can be deep and soulful. throw em at me! if you're brave. or if you're not, then you can run away and regret the day you weren't brave enough.
