It's always great to go on vacation out of town, but I like to think there's always an adventure to be had even in your own city. Finding beauty and excitement in what you're used to seeing every day is the perfect way to spend a summer day; it may be challenging for some, yes, but I guarantee you it'll be worth it.

Wander around, find a beautiful new place to start frequenting, discover something hidden. Pretend you're new and don't know Wacker Dr. from LaSalle St. Be a tourist in your own city, and you're bound to have an adventure.

  2. Nice post. I'm always afraid to be a tourist where I come from. I live in Amish country,so thats a little weird to be a tourist,cause I feel like an idot. hehehehe,but yeah,good post.
