interview with jamie delaine

guys. jamie delaine is one of my fave photographers out there. her pictures are amazing and her blog is so inspiring. I love that she is so real. as a photographer, she captures real emotion and joy; as a blogger she writes in such a real and honest way, that you instantly connect to her. ok, enough of me chattering on about how cool she is, I'll let her do her own talking.

1. what’s your name, where do you blog and who do you work for? or, more plainly known as, tell us about yourself!
my name is jamie delaine, i blog at jamiedelaineblog.com and i am blessed to work for myself!

2. five things you love mostest in the whole world to do?
five things i love the mostest? in no particular order, laying on my bedroom floor listening to a brand new album with my eyes closed, going for a long jog with aforementioned brand new album… or an old favourite, arriving to a coffeeshop in the early morning to write with a hot cup of coffee, wandering down an unexplored street in a new city & laughing until my stomach cramps and i'm yelling "it hurts it hurts it hurts!"

3. the best photography tips you’ve ever been given? 

practice makes perfect. and i'm still chasing perfect. ;)

7. tea or coffee? raspberries or blueberries? movies or books?
tea: feels better on my stomach. and i love any kind of green tea. but coffee… coffee is the love of my life. i'm passionate about coffee. but desperately try to restrain myself to one cup a day. blueberries are like nature's candy. raspberries are also lovely. movies -- i like the occasional chick flick, the occasional indie flick, the occasional emotional drama… but books -- they get me. words get me.
