of returning, california, john and eggnog.

heelllloooo my lovelies!!
well, it's been a while. it's been ages. I mean, it's been, like, a whole month and two weeks since I've posted properly. which is practically a gazillion years. I've missed you all so much! not just sayin that either. truth.
but, I must say, that I loved every single one of those guest posts. they were pretty darn ah-mazing. so, all in all, I'm giving up blogging and they're gonna take over! see ya!

ha.
ha.
ha.

although they all do a much better job than me at posting, I'm going to stick it out. to the death and all that. so. I've done gone been to california. and I had the most lovely lovely time. thanksgiving and food and coffee and food and coffee and eggnog (a first for me!) and pumpkin pie (also a first) and more food and soft pretzels (....also a first) and coffee and beaches and apple cider (um...also a first!) and chillaxin. it was great. starbucks people really didn't get my accent when I said my name. I was jiss, janice, jesses, janes, jen and john. john? really people? JOHN?! walmart peeps told us to tell the queen to set up walmarts in england. but I thought, nah. I'd just tell kate middleton instead, seeing as we're best buds.

anyway. I had many fun experiences, some of which I've been sharing on twitter along the way and it's good good good to be back on my wee little blogging space. I'm in NZ at the mo, and I have lotsa pictures to share. also, tell me what you've been doing while I've not been posting! I really wanna know! coz I is nosey. also, I wub yous all.

also. see that picture up there of me and another beautiful, lovely young lady? yeah. she's awesome and minty biscuits and I love her and she's mah lil sheep.

love you all.
be good, tell all and hug a hobbit.

  3. I'm SO HAPPY YOU'RE BACK! As much as I loved the guest posters, there's no one like you.
As cheesy as it sounds, it's true. You're the only blogger I follow who isn't so serious in their posts, you have a great sense of humor, and I love you. (not in a weird way)

Just saying, I'm super duper happy you're back, and am going to go be happy the rest of the day.

Oh! And during your break, I watched the LOTR trilogy. And participated in much music stuff. Yeah, my lifeeeeee...

So I guess I should tell you is that I'm nearly finished writing my book and I got a new lens for my camera. Not that those are important things or anything. Oh no, just little everyday occurances. ;D

  15. This is awesome, John...eh, that is Jess. Ha! For the record it sounds nothing like John when you say Jess...judging by your vlogs anyway.

Eggnog, apple cider, soft pretzels- don't know how you've made it this far in life without them...that's all I can say.

-p.s. in the same airport as Martin Freeman? I would have died.

  17. You'd never had pumpkin pie, egg nog, apple cider or soft pretzels until your visit here?! :O
Ah, California; I wonder if that's the main place Europeans want to go to when they come to the US for a trip...I had another friend (from Germany) who visited California not too long ago - but I haven't been to my birth state in years and I didn't get to meet her either. :(
I haven't talked to any girls (or guys) with British or Kiwi accents recently...I want to visit Europe and Kiwiland! I do love lots of European accents. :)
You should come visit Pensacola, Florida in a few months (where I'll be going to a school for the Navy for some time) so I can meet you in person; I'm sure I'll be able to understand your accent well and I won't call you Jen or John. ;)
That reminds me; once I ordered something to eat at Arby's (a fast-food restaurant serving mainly roast beef sandwiches) and my receipt had my name as "MACKS." XD
I imagine you like Doctor Who? I want to watch it soon - probably starting with the Tenth/David Tennant Doctor (I liked him in The Weeping Angels). Ok, I'll shut up now. Well, nearly.
    - Your distant American cousin (my great-grandmother's last name was Linlithgow - like the city in Scotland, so perhaps I have some distant relatives in the UK - perhaps you might be one! :) Ok, now I'll really shut up.

Can't wait to see more pictures, because I've been wanting to visit New Zealand for years and at least I can sort of live it through your blog. :)

  23. Hey Goober. Nice fish face! You haven't posted in ages...Tsk tsk. Isn't it a rule that you're supposed to post every week at minimum, or something?

So, you have no idea how sorely tempted I am to put up that picture of your manly smoulder.

It was great talking to you just before, and watching Les Mis with you, and pulling silly faces for you and seeing your big-real-life-un-photoshopped nose ;-) Looking forward to some epicness on Saturday...
