SECRET PROJECT REVEAL + GIVEAWAY!


I AM VERY MUCH EXCITED TO SHARE MY NEWS WITH YOU ALL. *drumroll puhleeese* the secret project that I've been working on (and taunting you all with heh heh) is my brand spankin new website! photography has been such a big part of my life for so long now, I decided to stop messing round and get serious about being "professional" (whatever that means). I guess I've officially been a photographer for a year or two now, but there's something about having a website that makes it seem more...well, official! I've been working on www.jessmcghie.com (pretty easy url to remember huh?) for a few months now, and I think I'm finally ready to unleash it to the world! if you're wondering, I'm not going to stop blogging and I'm not going to be moving my blog onto the website, coz I love my lil space here so, so much. eventually I might make a professional blog (separate from this blog), but for now I just want to keep sharing both personal and professional on here because I think it works and also I really appreciate your guys' input on my photography! so there you go. I'm now the (very) excited photographer behind jessmcghie.com and you don't know how much I would appreciate it if you would share the news with others! now. because I love you all so much and because I want to share my excitement with you adorable chipmunks, I've decided to do a giveaway. yup. that's right. details below! 


so, I'm giving away some of my very favourite things. I went out and bought a bunch of stuff that I generally don't (can't?) live without, because obviously you need these in your life. to show my appreciation for all of you and to thank you for encouraging me in my passion (I honestly don't think I would anywhere near the photographer I am today without you guys!), I decided to give you something back. included in the giveaway package...
  • woodland notebook (stationary. my one weakness.)
  • lindt chocolates (so.good.)
  • sherbet fountain (stuff of childhood dreams, folks.)
  • twinings spicy chai (I flippin love this tea)
  • limini's coffee beans (my favourite personal blend)
  • the calvary road (this. book. is. amazing.)

and of course there'll be a letter from me and perhaps a few other lil surprises in there (wink wink). so! what do you need to do to win this package of goodness?

    Gosh, I don't remember how I found your blog. Fairly certain I've been around since you first started, though... I've always enjoyed your posts. You're random and bubbly and vivacious, and your photo captures are stunning.

    after thinking about it long and hard... (because I've followed your blog for three years now? and I have memory issues, 'kay...) I think I originally found your blog via Petie's... and I can't for the life of me remember how I found hers.

    I'm from Washington... (the Vancouver area, which is across the river from Portland. ;) It is very... wet here. But probably not as wet as England. My favorite posts are probably vlogs, and more specifically, especially the vlogs with Petie. ;)

    First of all: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS INTERNATIONAL. I know it costs more for you to send it overseas, but those goodies look freakin' brilliant and I'm dying for the opportunity to win this. XD

    First, how I found your blog... Well, I can't actually remember. When Petie announced she was going to visit England and stay with you, I popped over, took a squiz, fell in love and followed, but you seemed vaguely familiar to me, so I can't quite remember if I'd taken a look before or not. I'm from New Zealand (*high five*) and I love all of your vlogs & the travel posts from when Petie was visiting. :) Honestly, I love practically everything you post, so I can't narrow it down. :)

    Wow Jess- the website is fantastic! Congrats on getting it up! I've been reading your blog for a really long time (3 years or so), but I'm not sure how I found you. It was probably through another blog. I hail from the East coast of the U.S. and I absolutely love seeing all your pictures from life in England.     I've been following your brilliant-quality blog for about two months (perhaps more?) and I've totally fallen in love with your capturing photography.
